Desa Munduk is located in the northern highlands of Bali, on the way from Bedugul to Singaraja. Situated at an altitude of approximately 800–1,200 meters above sea level, the village enjoys cool mountain air and a peaceful rural atmosphere, making it ideal for coffee and clove plantations.
Most local farmers cultivate high-quality Arabica coffee that thrives in the fertile volcanic soil. During the coffee season (around June–August), wild civets naturally feed on ripe coffee cherries, producing authentic wild luwak coffee. All luwak coffee from Munduk is naturally sourced, not farmed or caged.
This experience begins with a light trekking journey through the coffee plantations, where visitors learn about different coffee varieties and the natural process behind wild luwak coffee production. The tour concludes with a tasting session of Munduk Arabica coffee and wild luwak coffee, offering a distinctive and refined mountain flavor appreciated by coffee enthusiasts.
