“Living with Locals is the Best Way to Understand Authentic Culture.” Suastika Homestay Program is part of Baliedu Tours and Travel’s dedication to supporting locally owned accommodations that have limited marketing access. This initiative helps sustain small family businesses and preserve local livelihoods. Located in the cultural heart of Ubud, Suastika Homestay offers a genuine experience of staying with a native Ubud family and observing daily Balinese life. The homestay is only about a 10-minute walk from Ubud center. It currently offers 4 clean and comfortable rooms with a river view behind the property. Each room features twin beds or a queen-size bed, a fan (air conditioning is not necessary due to Ubud’s cool climate), and a private bathroom with hot and cold shower facilities. Every morning, guests are welcomed with warm smiles and homemade breakfast. Guests may also participate in daily family activities such as preparing offerings for ceremonies or learning to cook traditional Balinese dishes in the family kitchen. This program is ideal for travelers seeking authentic cultural immersion and a true Balinese family atmosphere.
